
Now that they no longer have to worry about Mortal Kombat X being given a Refused Classification rating in Australia which would make the game impossible to market in Australia, Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment Australia have confirmed that they will be distributing a number of different editions of the game in the country. These sets, all listed below, range in price from $189.95 AUD to $89.95:
Mortal Kombat X: Kollector’s Edition by Coarse
Exclusive to EB Games stores across Australia, this edition is set to be the most expensive at a whopping RRP $189.95. The most notable addition to this set is an exclusive Scorpion figurine designed by Coarse, which comes with its own Certificate of Authenticity. Also included is an in-game Gold Scorpion Skin, Goro Downloadable Content and a copy of Mortal Kombat X on either the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.

Mortal Kombat X: Kollector’s Edition
Also available exclusively via EB Games in Australia, this standard Kollector’s Edition is slightly cheaper at $169.95 (PS4/XONE), $159.95 (PS3/X360) and $149.95 (PC). Instead of the “Coarse” figure, this set comes with a hand painted Scorpion Stature (28cm), in addition to a unique steel pack and serialized steel card, a Mortal Kombat X: Blood Ties Comic Book (Volume 1), an in-game Gold Scorpion Skin and a copy of the game on any console of your choice.
Mortal Kombat X Special Edition
Available through EB Games and JB Hi-fi in Australia, this Special Edition comes in much cheaper than any other set at $109.95 (PS4/XONE), $99.95 (PS3/X360) and $89.95 (PC). This set comes with a steel pack, a scopion skin inspired by the Cold War (Produced through a collaboration with NetherRealm Studios and a fan artist from MMKollective.com) and a copy of the game on any console of your choice.
Mortal Kombat X Premium Edition
Available on all platforms as a $129.95 digital download exclusive, this Premium Edition set includes a copy of the game and “The Kombat Pack”.
Irrespective of what set you choose to purchase, all will be available for purchase on April 15th 2015.
