While we are still some time away from discovering when the game will actually be released in North America, publisher ATLUS USA have shared a look at Etrian Mystery Dungeon’s finalized cover artwork.
They have also confirmed that pre-orders and other first print run copies will be bundled with a soundtrack CD. It is unclear how many tracks will be included on this disc, although given past “bonus soundtrack” offers, I would expect it to either be a limited selection or a compilation of remixes.
As the name implies, Etrian Mystery Dungeon is an amalgamation of elements from ATLUS’ dungeon-crawling series Etrian Odyssey and Spike Chunsoft’s roguelike RPG Mystery Dungeon – two franchises which have been on the market for quite some time. It will be released exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan and North America beginning sometime in 2015.
