The team at ATLUS USA has recently taken to the MegaTen Subreddit to announce that they will be releasing something special on the PlayStation Store today. While there has been no official confirmation about what title it could be, a recent ESRB filing heavily indicates that the secret release will be a PlayStation 2 Classics release of Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne which is often considered as the third major numbered title in the main Shin Megami Tensei series.
This digital release will be limited to North America, with Ghostlight holding the European rights to the game under the alternate title Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer’s Call. Ghostlight have not commented on any planned digital releases, but are currently working on PS2 Classics releases of Digital Devil Saga I / II.
