BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma to Receive PlayStation Vita Release in Late June 2014

By now fighting game enthusiasts should have had the opportunity to pick up BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma for the PlayStation 3 through either retail or digital download channels. But what if you want to enjoy the game on the go? Perhaps get together with some mates at University and go up against one another? International publisher Aksys Games have announced that they will be releasing Chrono Phantasma physically and digitally on June 24th, 2014.

Featuring all playable characters from the PlayStation 3 system version, BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma for the PlayStation Vita system will also include an additional story, an enhanced Abyss Mode and a recap of BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift. These are features incorporated into the game during the period of time between Japan’s October 2013 PS3 release and April 2014 Vita release. There are currently no announced plans to transition this exclusive content to the PS3 edition.

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma adds five new playable characters to the original cast, as well as two downloadable characters, the scientist Kokonoe and the villainous Terumi (available May 27, 2014) and the unlockable character Kagura Mutsuki. 

Ragna Begins His Final Mission

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma’s story mode contains more than 30 hours of gameplay, delving further into the epic journey of Ragna and the others than ever before. The PlayStation Vita system version contains a summary that takes you back to the events of Calamity Trigger and Continuum Shift to help refresh your memory!
