I remember being a big fan of the Digimon Adventures television series when I was much younger, and at the time where there was a media war between Pokemon and Digimon many at the time seemed to expect that Digimon series wouldn’t last that long…. especially the video games which released generally on the PlayStation 1 were met with lukewarm reception.
Moving ahead fifteen years and Bandai Namco are still continuing the develop the video game franchise with their upcoming 2015 PlayStation Vita exclusive release of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth. To kick off the month, Namco Bandai have shared a new set of screenshots for the game available for your convenience below. These cover small snippets of bits and pieces from the game including the fact that the adventure takes place in both reality and the Digital World, the ability to train multiple Digimon to produce the strongest team possible and pit them against others – as you would expect in any RPG.
Looking promising so far. Bandai Namco have not confirmed any international release plans to date… and with many other adaptations such as Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment which also hasn’t received any international release plans… I am doubting if we will ever see this localized.
