While the main Idolm@ster instalments remain on the home video game consoles, the latest being The Idolm@ster 2 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox360 in Japan, Bandai Namco have since branched the series out onto spin-off titles such as Gravure For You and Shiny Festa, in addition to a number of well received mobile games.
While all previous games have had a focus on female idol members, particularly those of 765 Production, Bandai Namco announced during The Idolm@ster: Masters of Idol World 2014 event that they are working on a new Mobage mobile platform title The Idolm@ster: SideM.
While seemingly featuring several features reminiscent of their earlier mobile works such as the use of cards, the distinct feature is that the game will feature a character cast entirely of male idols. This is not the first time male idols have been included in the series, with one playable character in The Idolm@ster: Dearly Stars and the rival group “Jupiter” present in The Idolm@ster 2.
Chances of an international release I would say are very slim to nil however.
