Alongside announcing three new video games for release later this year recently, Nippon Ichi Software America also released a brand new trailer for their upcoming release of Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection that was announced last year.
Unlike the main PlayStation 3 installments in the Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise which were purely JRPG’s, Producing Perfection is an idol raising simulator where you (Yes, youself) are hired by one of the four CPU Goddesses of Gamindustri to serve as their producer and manage their idol careers. Will you lead Neptune, Noire, Blanc or Vert as the next “big thing” in Gamindustri, or will balance of power shift in the favor of the new antagonists, MOB-48!?!?!
Exclusive to the PlayStation Vita, Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection was originally developed by Compile Heart within Japan, and will be released in English later this year. Given that idol sim games such as The Idolm@ster 2 have never been licensed for international release, here’s hoping that Producing Perfection will stimulate the demand for more games of the genre.
