Let’s be honest, I would be raising my eyebrows if either Microsoft or Sony Computer Entertainment chose not to showcase their new consoles at this years EB Games Expo. While Microsoft confirmed a short while ago that the Xbox One would be the prize of their booth, until now Sony had kept their lips zipped. Fortunately the organizers of the EB Games Expo announced today that those attending the October event will be able to get a hands on experience with the Playstation 4.

It’s fantastic that Australians get the chance to get hands on with the PS4 at EB Expo before its official release. This is usually a privilege reserved for industry insiders, now everyone is an insider.
This is a big deal… people are going to be able to look back in years to come and brag that they played it first. We know that this is something that the community have been waiting for and as gamers ourselves we are equally excited. The prospect of hands on game play before the official release is something gamers only dream of. We are stoked that Sony Computer Entertainment Australia has made this a reality for those attending EB Expo.
Okay… maybe that quote might be a bit over the top but hey, there seem to be very few opportunities planned so far for gamers to get their hands on the Playstation 4 prior to launch.
