Video game publisher Natsume have confirmed that Harvest Moon GBC, which as the name suggests originated on the Gameboy Colour is now available for purchase via the Nintendo 3DS eShop. Not only is it available on the North American eShop but also the European one.
Your grandfather, mentor and role model, has passed away. Not long afterwards, you awake from a vivid dream: your grandfather has visited you and mourned how his ranch has become ignored and unkempt. It will now be your duty to fix things up and live a good life. He promises to return at the end of the year and see how much you’ve progressed. You’ve got four seasons to whip the farm into shape and earn your grandfather’s blessing. Discover how the early Harvest Moon formula began with classic gameplay on the go!
The company also shared this tip via their Facebook page mentioning how to make the Timer in the game work properly:
1. Turn OFF Restore Points
2. Turn ON the Timer
3. Completely close the game — don’t just shut your 3DS lid. When you return, do not pick up where you left off (the game’s ‘auto quick save’), but choose RESET on the menu. When you load from the menu, the Timer will have run correctly. Thanks to SakuraMota on our forums for this great tip ^^
