KEMCO’s supernatural visual novel Tales from Toyotoki: Arrival of the Witch has arrived on Nintendo Switch 2. The game is available now through the Nintendo eShop in North America and Europe, priced at $29.99 USD, 29.99 Euro or local equivalent, with a 60% discount for the first two weeks after launch.
The story follows Hikaru, a young man who finds himself down on his luck and homeless on an unfamiliar island. While trying to dodge pit vipers and irritable members of the senior committee, he meets a witch who is in much the same situation. The pair team up to survive, and hopefully thrive, on Toyotoki, an isolated island cut off from the modern world, rooted in old traditions and surrounded by mystery.
Along the way they meet a group of island locals, including a cheeky island beauty, a proud rich girl, a clumsy saleswoman and a delinquent who loves manga. Each of them is also trying to figure out who they are and where they belong.
Blending magic, friendship and self-discovery, the visual novel has the group working together to uncover the secrets of Toyotoki Island while finding their own way forward.
