QPAC’s annual Spirit of Christmas concert has its 2026 lineup, bringing together four performers from Australia and New Zealand alongside the Queensland Symphony Orchestra.
Alinta Chidzey will host this year’s concert. Chidzey has starred in Moulin Rouge! The Musical, CHICAGO and West Side Story, and she is joined by fellow musical theatre performer Elise McCann, whose credits include Beetlejuice, MAMMA MIA! The Musical and Matilda The Musical.
New Zealand-Tongan tenor Filipe Manu also joins the bill, having performed with a number of the world’s leading opera houses during his career. Rounding out the lineup is Waveney Yasso, an award-winning First Nations composer, musician and performer.
The Queensland Symphony Orchestra will accompany the performers under conductor Simon Kenway, with the Spirit of Christmas Choir and Voices of Birralee also joining them on stage.
Spirit of Christmas, QPAC’s longest running concert series, will once again take place in the venue’s Concert Hall, once again decorated for the occasion. Tickets are on sale now via the QPAC website.
