Join Bluey and Bingo with Dad’s camera in tow, as the young and young at heart can now enjoy Bluey’s Happy Snaps, a photography adventure from Gameloft Brisbane that is now available on consoles and PC. Published by Gameloft and made in collaboration with Bluey producers Ludo Studio and BBC Studios, the game has launched across a wide spread of platforms: Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC, Steam and the Epic Games Store. It is also included with Xbox Game Pass and supports Xbox Play Anywhere.
Players spend their time alongside Bluey and Bingo, exploring familiar locations from the series and taking photos of what they find around Brisbane. That could mean capturing favourite games in action, chasing down a -beloved- bin chicken, or tracking down hidden surprises, with Australian wildlife to discover along the way. The camera does not have to stay in one pair of hands either, as the game can be played solo or with a second player.
Every photo can be added to a scrapbook and decorated with stickers based on the characters, animals and activities players come across. New dress-ups for Bluey and Bingo can also be unlocked as the adventure goes on. Gameloft has also built in a feature aimed at time away from the screen. Called Play for Real Life, it suggests playful activities that use everyday objects and surroundings, such as building a cushion fort or turning cardboard boxes into new creations, so that ideas found in the game can carry over into play at home.
Australian wildlife is a big part of the game, and Gameloft has teamed up with conservationist Bindi Irwin on a series of launch content built around that theme and the game’s focus on outdoor discovery. Irwin appears in the game’s overview trailer, with more content to come in the following weeks.
