Nintendo Switch 2 players can start their journey through Metaphor: ReFantazio before launch day, with ATLUS releasing a Prologue Demo for the fantasy RPG. Anything achieved in the demo will carry over to the full game, which launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on 12 November.
The demo covers the opening stretch of the story, letting players get to grips with the game’s social elements and explore the United Kingdom of Euchronia. It begins the Protagonist’s quest to lift the curse placed on the prince and includes the first four dungeons.
There is also a taste of the game’s class system. Classes in Metaphor: ReFantazio are called Archetypes, and while the full game has more than 40 of them, seven can be unlocked in the demo. Players will also meet six followers, among them party members who support the Protagonist along the way.
