Fuji Speedway sits at the centre of the next expansion for Project Motor Racing, with the World Endurance Pack bringing both the modern Japanese circuit and its original 1966 incarnation to the racing sim when it launches on 10 November.
Announced by publisher GIANTS Software and developer Straight4 Studios, the pack covers several decades of endurance prototype racing, adding 11 cars spread across four new classes. Rather than focusing on a single period, the pack mixes recent prototypes with machinery from the late 1980s. The cars are grouped as follows:
- LMP1: the 2016 Audi R18, Porsche 919 Hybrid and Toyota TS050 Hybrid, representing the hybrid era that began in the 2010s.
- LMP2: the 2013 Olivera P2-13.
- LMP2 EVO: the 2026 Olivera P2-26 EVO.
- IMSA GTP: the 1986 BMW March GTP, 1986 Chevrolet Corvette C4 GTP, 1986 Ford Probe GTP, 1988 Jaguar XJR 9 GTP, 1988 Nissan GTP SX-Turbo and 1988 Porsche 962 GTP.
The IMSA GTP class is the largest of the group, with six cars drawn from the American racing series. The two Olivera entries each anchor a class of their own, with the P2-13 and P2-26 EVO representing two separate eras of LMP2 prototype racing.
The car list is paired with a single venue offered in two forms. The historic 1966 version of the Fuji Speedway circuit is the more varied of the two, offering four layouts, two of which can also be driven in reverse. It retains the track’s original banked Turn 1, a corner the developers say demands courage and commitment from drivers. The modern Fuji Speedway adds a further two layouts, bringing the pack’s total to six.
