Brazil’s city streets and coastlines will form one of the five maps in Crazy Taxi: World Tour’s single-player story campaign. SEGA revealed the location during its Brasil Game Show 2026 press conference, with original Crazy Taxi creator and World Tour producer Kenji Kanno presenting a new map trailer.
The Brazil reveal adds another destination to the game’s international line-up ahead of its planned 2027 release. It is the fourth of five campaign maps, with the announcement highlighting a setting that draws on both busy urban environments and coastal scenery.
Real-world businesses will also be part of the surroundings. Habib’s, Fogo de Chão and Fast Shop are confirmed as in-game storefronts on the Brazil map, joining the other recognisable brands featured in World Tour. SEGA describes their inclusion as a continuation of the real-life stores seen in earlier Crazy Taxi games. Kanno, the producer of Crazy Taxi: World Tour, explained how Brazil’s contrasting environments influenced the team’s approach:
The striking contrast between Brazil’s dense, eclectic streetscapes and modern city life heavily inspired our team. Alongside the bright, vibrant beaches and dramatic natural scenery, we hope players can immerse themselves in the beauty and excitement of Brazil.
Crazy Taxi: World Tour is scheduled to launch in 2027 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC and Nintendo Switch 2.
