The Blood Of Dawnwalker Launch Trailer Arrives Ahead Of 3 September Release

Rebel Wolves and Bandai Namco Entertainment have released the launch trailer for The Blood of Dawnwalker, a week out from the studio’s first game becoming available on 3 September 2026.

At the centre of the game is Coen, a young man turned into a Dawnwalker, leaving him human while the sun is up and a vampire once it sets. Players write his story, with decisions carrying consequences that feed into both gameplay and narrative.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is an open-world action RPG set in the Carpathian Mountains, a region the studio positions as home to myths, beliefs and mysteries tucked away in its forests, roadside shrines and ancient ruins alongside its landscapes. The wider world has been worn down by wars, plagues, and rebellions under vampire rule, and Rebel Wolves frames it as a place where situations are rarely presented in absolute terms.

From the very beginning exploration is offered rather than being unlocked, allowing players to go through the world at their own speed and take on quests, discover points of interest, and hunt for secrets, mysteries, and treasures.

Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, Game Director and Co-Founder of Rebel Wolves, commented on the studio’s countdown to launch and used the occasion to point players towards the team’s gamescom presence.

All of us here at Rebel Wolves are counting down the days to launch of our first game. We can’t wait for the moment when players step into Vale Sangora and come face-to-face with Brencis and his vampire clique. We also hope that today’s trailer will encourage even more players to visit our booth at gamescom in Hall 6.1 and try our game.

Rebel Wolves has also indicated that the game is intended as a starting point rather than a one-off, having previously confirmed that future entries in the Dawnwalker saga will move to different eras and cultures, each with its own setting and experience.
