The Pokémon Company International has released Mega Evolution: Pitch Black, the latest expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, at participating retailers worldwide. The expansion introduces several new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex cards, including Mega Darkrai ex, Mega Zeraora ex, Mega Chandelure ex and Mega Excadrill ex.
Mega Evolution Pokémon ex feature high HP and powerful attacks, providing players with additional options when building decks and planning battle strategies. Their increased strength also comes with a significant risk, as opponents claim three Prize cards when one is Knocked Out.
Cards from Mega Evolution: Pitch Black are available through booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes and a range of additional collections. The expansion has also launched digitally through the Pokémon TCG Live app on iOS, Android, macOS and Windows. Players who log in can receive a themed deck accessory set and a Battle Pass deck built around Mega Darkrai ex. A second deck featuring Mega Chandelure ex can be unlocked by continuing to play.
