Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new trailer for Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters, ahead of its launch on 28 August 2026, offering a closer look at the game’s story modes, customisation options and football action. The trailer highlights the “NEW STARS” Story Mode, which adapts the “World Youth Arc” through the perspective of a customisable player joining the Japanese national team, alongside “LEGENDARY/ADVANCED” Story Mode, which features new narratives supervised by Yoichi Takahashi, and “RIVALS EPISODE”, which explores side stories focused on international rivals. Players will also be able to create and customise their own footballer through “PLAYER EDIT” and “TEAM EDIT”, practice their skills, and compete online in “REGULAR MATCH”.
