Supermassive Games has released a new 60-second trailer for its upcoming sci-fi survival horror title, Directive 8020, which is scheduled to launch on 12 May 2026. Revealed during the Galaxies Showcase, the footage provides a final look at the colony ship Cassiopeia and its mission to Tau Ceti f, where the crew must face an alien organism that possesses the ability to mimic its prey. Starring Lashana Lynch as pilot Brianna Young, the game introduces several mechanical shifts for the studio, including real-time survival gameplay, stealth systems, and a branching story tree. For the first time in a Dark Pictures entry, players will have access to Turning Points to rewind specific narrative decisions, though a dedicated survival mode remains available for those who prefer permanent consequences.
