Blizzard Entertainment has officially commenced the first season of the World of Warcraft Midnight expansion, coinciding with the launch of the 2026 Charity Pet program. This year, the initiative is partnered with Habitat for Humanity to support their ongoing housing efforts.
The centerpiece of the charity program is the Roofus Pack, which is now available for purchase through the Battle.net and in-game shops for $32.00 AUD or local equivalent. Players who acquire the bundle will receive Roofus, a handypup pet accessible on both Midnight and WoW Classic progression servers. The pack also includes several cosmetic items for the player housing system in Midnight, such as a dog house featuring four distinct styles and a dyeable floor, a dog bowl, and two variations of a dog bed. While this may seem steep for a digital pet and some other goodies, Blizzard Entertainment has committed to donate 100% of the purchase price (excluding transaction fees, VAT etc) to Habitat for Humanity until 13 May 2026 at 4.00am AEST.
The start of the season also introduces a variety of endgame activities. Players can now access the Voidspire and Dreamrift raids. The Voidspire raid is currently open on Normal, Heroic, and Raid Finder Wing 1 difficulties, while the Dreamrift is available as a single-boss encounter in Raid Finder. Other content now live includes Seasonal Heroic and M0 dungeons, Tier 8 and higher Delves, Bountiful Delves, Prey Nightmare Mode, and the first season of PVP.
Further updates are scheduled to roll out over the coming weeks. On 25 March 2026, the Voidspire and Dreamrift raids will open on Mythic difficulty. This date also marks the introduction of Mythic+ Keystone dungeons and a new delve titled The Darkway.
The seasonal rollout will continue on 1 April 2026 with the opening of a final new raid, March on Quel’Danas. This raid will be available immediately across Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties. Additionally, a new delve located in Parhelion Plaza will become accessible to players.
