Publisher Big Fan Games and developer Auroch Digital have released a new trailer for their upcoming retro inspired first-person shooter Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2, which is scheduled to launch later this year on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The promotional footage highlights a returning nemesis alongside a first look at enemy factions such as the Daemons of Slaanesh and the Death Guard. Picking up directly after the events of the original game, the sequel features a branching single-player campaign where players can select between two protagonists: Sister of Battle Nyra Veyrath and Ultramarine Malum Caedo. Each character possesses distinct weapons, abilities and playstyles designed to combat a roster of foes that includes returning enemies like Nurglings and Chaos Cultists, as well as new threats such as Bloodletters and Juggernauts.
