While the mobile game NieR Re[in]carnation shut down more than a year ago on 29 April 2024, the game’s social media account was resurrected today to mark its fifth anniversary, having first gone live in 2021. The anniversary was marked with the release of a new anniversary artwork by Kimihiko Fujisaka (藤坂公彦).
Unfortunately, this is just the release of key artwork and not an announcement of bringing the game to new markets – perhaps as an offline offering. However there is a Japan-exclusive artbook which contains a lot of materials from the game – which in my opinion is worth picking up if you enjoyed what was originally on offer.
