It has been over 15 years since the Australian production of Jersey Boys celebrated its premiere in Melbourne. Now, the four actors who originally led that cast are set to share the stage once again for a new concert production titled Jersey Forever. Bobby Fox, Stephen Mahy, Scott Johnson, and Glaston Toft will reunite to perform a repertoire dedicated to the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
The concert promises a selection of the group’s most distinct hits, with the setlist including tracks such as Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Walk Like a Man, and Oh What A Night. Bobby Fox, who took on the role of Frankie Valli during the original Australian tour, commented on the upcoming reunion and the opportunity to perform alongside his former castmates.
I am so excited to be singing this iconic music again and reliving the memories and mateship that made the show so special.
Jersey Forever is scheduled for a single performance on Friday 13 February at 8:00 pm. The event will be held at the Twin Towns Showroom in Tweed Heads. Tickets are currently priced at $65 and bookings can be made online via the Twin Towns website.
