During the recent Holiday Matsuri 2025 event, publisher Sekai Project revealed a new addition to their digital distribution lineup. The company announced that they will be bringing Panty Party Kanseitai to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Developed by Cosen and Animu Game, this title is currently scheduled for release during Q1 2026.
While the original version of Panty Party made its debut on Steam in 2017, this new release is pitched as an enhanced version of the fast-paced battle game. The console edition will feature improved graphics resolution compared to the original PC launch.
Panty Party’s gameplay centers on high-speed combat where players control one of 27 playable “characters,” which are various types of underwear. Each unit possesses its own specific skills and strengths. The title supports multiplayer functionality for up to four participants. This includes a local multiplayer mode as well as online support, though an active PlayStation Plus subscription is required for the latter.
