Who likes donuts? Now who likes the idea of limited edition donuts? With Beetlejuice The Musical set to commence its Brisbane season at the Lyric Theatre, QPAC next year, the production has partnered with local bakery Nodo for a promotional event. To mark the show’s upcoming return to Australian stages following its Australian premiere this year, Nodo has developed a themed donut that will be available for a very limited window.
This is not just naming rights for a pre-existing donut, but a “Beetlejuice inspired” creation. Keeping with Nodo’s standard preparation style, the donuts are baked rather than fried. The flavour profile includes a beetroot ‘mudcake’ base, topped with matcha white chocolate, matcha Russian buttercream, and a blueberry compote.
Those interested in trying the confectionery should note that it will be available for one day only. The release is scheduled for Sunday 14 December and will be sold exclusively at the Nodo South Bank store.
Alongside the product launch, a competition is currently running for followers of the brand. One winner will receive a prize pack consisting of two tickets to the Brisbane Opening Night of Beetlejuice The Musical on 12 June 2026, as well as $100 worth of Nodo products. Entries for this competition opened at midday today, with terms and conditions available via the company’s website and Instagram page.
Beetlejuice The Musical is scheduled to begin performances at QPAC starting 7 June 2026. Tickets for the season are currently on sale through the official production website.
