The Nozomi Entertainment division of anime publisher and distributor Right Stuf have announced that they will be doing a re-release of the classic 52-episode anime series Kimba, The White Lion. This will be a set containing the complete series on DVD only, which is set to be published on the 9th July 2013… so there is a bit of a wait until you can pick it up from stores.
This new DVD set repackages all 52 episodes of Kimba, The White Lion, as it aired on television in the United States, with remastered video (from the previous collections) and an English-language audio track. It is housed in a slim-profile, chipboard collectible box featuring art from the series. At an SRP of $69.99, the entire series will be split over 10 DVD’s.
Join Kimba along with his pals Pauly the Parrot, Daniel Baboon, and a charming assortment of other loveable characters, as he follows in the footsteps of his late father, the great lion king, making the jungle a safer, better place for everyone to live.
