Continuing to expand their line of Oasis Class ships, Royal Caribbean has officially started work on the seventh ship of the class, joining Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas, Symphony of the Seas, Wonder of the Seas and Utopia of the Seas – each released between 2009 and 2024. The first piece of still was cut last week during a ceremony at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France.
The yet-to-be-named ship is targeted for introduction in 2028. Royal Caribbean hopes that this seventh vessel will continue the evolution which has come with each ship of the class, with a range of experiences across attractions, dining, bars and entertainment on offer – as one would expect – as well as the trademark features of the class – such as the themed neighbourhoods.
Further details, including the ship’s name, destinations and potentially new features, will be announced at a later date.
