Kadokawa Animation has confirmed that Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4 Episode 1 will receive its world premiere at Lucca Comics & Games 2025. The screening will be held on Saturday, 1 November 2025 from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm at Cinema Astra and will include a guest appearance by Rie Takahashi, the voice of Emilia.
The day before the premiere, Rie Takahashi will participate in an autograph session on Friday, 31 October from 11.30 am to 1.00 pm at the BD Edizioni booth. Throughout the show, a dedicated Re:ZERO booth will be located inside the Crunchyroll booth from 29 October to 2 November, where attendees can pick up exclusive original stickers while supplies last.
For those unable to attend, there is still a little bit of time until Season 4 actually airs, with a planned 2026 release. The season follows on from the battle at the Watergate City of Priestella, where victory came with heavy costs. Through the Authority of Gluttony, Rem remains asleep, while Crusch has lost her memories and even Julius’s name has been devoured. Subaru learns of the wise man Shaula and sets his sights on the Pleiades Watchtower, a farthest tower within the Auguria Dunes. The journey will force Subaru and allies to confront brutal natural forces, unknown mabeasts and other dangers as they seek to reclaim what was lost.
The returning Japanese cast includes Yusuke Kobayashi as Subaru Natsuki, Rie Takahashi as Emilia, Satomi Arai as Beatrice, Rie Murakawa as Ram, Inori Minase as Rem, Takuya Eguchi as Julius Juukulius, Kana Ueda as Anastasia Hoshin, Eri Suzuki as Meili Portroute and Fairouz Ai as Shaula.
