Amplified Games Ltd and Indonesian developer Posh Cat Studio have confirmed that Little Problems: A Cozy Detective Game will arrive on Steam on Tuesday 9 September 2025. The title marks Posh Cat Studio’s debut release and aims to lean into gentle, slice of life sleuthing rather than crime fiction intensity.
Built by a small, female led team, Little Problems frames detective work around everyday hiccups and misunderstandings. The focus is on talking with friends, piecing together small clues and finding simple resolutions that make daily life easier.
Players step into the routine of Mary, a first year university student, and tackle scenarios such as oversleeping and missing an early lecture or trying to locate a study group meeting place before an assignment is due.
The studio began prototyping a traditional investigative murder mystery before rethinking the concept for the team’s wellbeing. According to founder and lead developer Melisa, that shift set the tone for a lighter, more approachable experience.
We turned to cozy games and cute pictures to escape the blood and gore. Little Problems was born out of a love for wholesome, safe and approachable content but still with a passion for investigation and detection.
Little Problems focuses on solving mysteries based on life’s minor inconveniences and everyday misunderstandings, and of course, little problems. In Little Problems, detective work is about connecting with friends, understanding the small yet significant issues of daily life and finding joy in the simplicity of resolution. It’s not about saving the world, it’s about enriching it, one little problem at a time.
You can now wishlist Little Problems: A Cozy Detective Game via Steam.
