The latest chapter in World of Warcraft: The War Within has arrived, as the 11.2 update, Ghosts of K’aresh, is now live. In this content update, the Champions of Azeroth journey to the shattered homeworld of the Ethereals, confronting new dangers from the Void and preparing to face Dimensius, the All-Devouring.
The Ghosts of K’aresh update introduces players to the new zone of K’aresh, a shattered world made up of fractured islands and remnants of Ethereal civilization. As adventurers journey through these islands, they’ll encounter echoes of a once-thriving society now fighting for survival. The update also brings back Tazavesh, the Veiled Market—a bustling hub run by the enigmatic Brokers. Now located on K’aresh, Tazavesh not only serves as the new player hub but also reopens as a Mythic+ dungeon, giving players both a place to gather and a challenging new instance to conquer.

To help navigate this alien world, players can earn the Reshii Wraps artifact cloak, an upgradeable item that allows them to transform into an energy form and see the world through Ethereal eyes—a skill crucial for exploring K’aresh and bypassing certain raid security systems.
The launch of Season 3 on 13 August will further expand the content lineup, with the eight-boss raid Manaforge: Omega challenging players to prevent the resurrection of Dimensius, while the new three-boss dungeon, Eco-Dome Al’dani, tasks adventurers with defending a secret eco-dome from invading Wastelanders. All Season 3 dungeons are available now in normal, heroic, and Mythic 0 difficulties, with Mythic+ versions set to unlock when the new season begins.
