Free Lives, the studio behind Broforce and Anger Foot, together with publisher Devolver Digital, have announced that Stick it to the Stickman is set to launch on PC via Steam Early Access on August 18. Pitched as an offbeat, physics-based brawler, the game seeks to challenge players players to rise through the ranks of a hilariously ruthless workplace, fighting off minimum wage stickmen on the path to becoming CEO.
In Stick it to the Stickman, players build a unique combat style by choosing from hundreds of wild moves, transforming themselves into the ultimate office warrior. The game features over-the-top stickman action with everything from fireballs and chainsaws to katanas and slapstick melee. Players can expect a mashup of gameplay styles: brawling, platforming, autobattling, parkour, car theft, delivery runs, and the possibly satisfying ability to kick rivals out of windows.
Climb the corporate ladder by taking on other aspiring CEOs, tackling dubious “business tasks” like stealing cars, suppressing protestors, and kidnapping building inspectors, all in pursuit of profit and power. Play solo or team up with a friend to take on waves of red stickmen, but remember: everyone is gunning for the top job.
