Independent developer Oscar Salandin, known under the moniker Peculiar Pixels, has released a new overview video for his upcoming online multiplayer game BOTSU. The video offers a closer look at what players can expect from this physics-based robot battlesports title.
In the presentation, Salandin introduces several of the game’s unique and chaotic modes, including SUMO, BOXBALL, and STOCKPILE. Each mode offers a different twist on competitive gameplay, all fuelled by the game’s deliberately unpredictable physics system.
Beyond the main game modes, the video highlights BOTSU‘s social hub – a space designed for players to interact between matches. This area encourages casual play and experimentation, featuring a variety of interactive elements that continue the game’s focus on physics-driven humour and unpredictability.
Playable both online and via local split-screen, BOTSU allows players to customise their robot avatars using a range of unlockable costumes, adding a personal touch to the robot chaos.
A playable demo of BOTSU is now available on Steam, offering the chance to experience the game’s mechanics and custom match options ahead of its full release.
