Bandai Namco Entertainment has confirmed that Fahkumram, the Muay Thai fighter who first appeared in Tekken 7, will return to the series in Tekken 8 as part of its upcoming Summer DLC. Players who own the Season 2 Character & Stage Pass or the Season 2 Character Pass will gain early access to the character from 7 July 2025, with a general release scheduled for 10 July 2025.
Pitched in-game as one of Thailand’s national heroes, Fahkumram takes on the role of “Thailand’s ultimate weapon” in Tekken 8, driven by a desire for revenge against the Mishima Zaibatsu. His inclusion expands the playable roster to 38 fighters. In addition to Fahkumram, Armor King is also slated to return to the series in Fall 2025 as the next downloadable character. Further details on his release will be shared at a later date.
Tekken 8 is developed by Bandai Namco Studios Inc. using Unreal Engine 5, and seeks to deliver players an experience with top of the line character models, dynamic environments, and destructible stages to enhance the game’s presentation and combat experience. Available on current generation consoles and the PC, you can check out my review of the game when it launched last year, HERE.
