Australian theatrical producer Michael Cassel Group are not just bringing Beetlejuice the Musical to Australian audiences (with previews imminent), but also bringing the musical to Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena on Yas Island for its Middle East premiere from 20 to 30 November 2025. The event marks the next major international theatrical production brought to the UAE by producers Michael Cassel Group and Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, in partnership with Proactiv Entertainment, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and Miral.
Pre-sale tickets will be available from 5 May, with general public sales opening on 8 May via both Etihad Arena and Premium List websites.

Based on Tim Burton’s cult classic film, Beetlejuice the Musical offers an offbeat blend of humour, horror and heartfelt moments. The show follows teenager Lydia Deetz, who finds herself caught between the world of the living and the dead when she encounters the chaotic Beetlejuice – a mischievous demon enlisted to help haunt her new home. The musical features bold theatrical effects, standout comedy, and a surprisingly touching message about life, death, and the bonds of family.
The production is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Alex Timbers, with music and lyrics by Eddie Perfect and a book by Scott Brown and Anthony King. The creative team features leading theatre talent including choreographer Connor Gallagher, music supervisor Kris Kukul, and designers David Korins, William Ivey Long, Kenneth Posner, and Peter Hylenski, among others.
