Following a less than ideal launch, QUByte Interactive has announced that the first significant patch for Glover (QUByte Classics) will be released on 23 April 2025 across all supported platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Since the game’s initial release, QUByte claims the development team has been working to address community feedback, aiming to improve both performance and player experience. To mark the update’s rollout, Glover will be available at a 10% discount for a limited time on all consoles.
The patch includes a number of updates and fixes across gameplay, visuals, and progression. Key improvements include:
Achievements
- Corrections to descriptions and unlock conditions for several achievements.
Level Adjustments
- Prehistoric World – Bonus Stage: Adjusted placement of Garibs for smoother collection.
- Fortress of Fear: Removed invisible walls that previously blocked progression.
- Out of This World: A missing cutscene integral to the story has been restored.
- Atlantis: Fixed a progression issue following the dark portal, and resolved a bug allowing players to skip a level without unlocking the required door.
Enemy Behaviour
- Fixed an issue where defeated enemies did not disappear correctly from the screen.
- Resolved problems with partially vanishing enemy types.
Boss Fight Fixes
- In the Carnival Boss level, the boss’s nose now blinks correctly, resolving a bug that previously hindered progress.
Visual Enhancements
- Upgrades to textures, lighting, shadows, and colour have been implemented across various levels.
- Fog rendering has been improved for a clearer and more atmospheric experience.
