As mid-year approaches—a period that traditionally aligned with the now-retired E3—major publishers are beginning to reveal their showcase plans for June. Xbox has confirmed that its annual Xbox Games Showcase will take place on Sunday, 8 June 2025 at 10.00am PDT.
Immediately following the showcase, The Outer Worlds 2 Direct will offer an in-depth look at the upcoming sequel from Obsidian Entertainment. This segment will include new gameplay footage, details, and insights from the development team behind the first-person science fiction RPG.
For audiences in Australia and New Zealand, the event will air on:
- Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST): Monday, 9 June at 3.00am
- New Zealand Standard Time (NZST): Monday, 9 June at 5.00am
Both segments will be streamed digitally via a number of channels including the Xbox Youtube, Twitch and Facebook channels, with more information expected to follow in the lead-up to the event.
