Following a completely sold-out run at Hayes Theatre Co, the current production of The Producers will extend its Sydney presence with a strictly limited one-week season at Riverside Theatres in Parramatta. Performances will run from 13 to 16 May 2025, offering audiences a second opportunity to experience Mel Brooks’ acclaimed musical comedy. Tickets are currently available via the Riverside Theatres website.
This extension comes in response to strong demand for the production, which officially opens tonight at Hayes Theatre Co.
Leading the cast are Anton Berezin and Des Flanagan in the roles of Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom respectively, supported by Alexandra Cashmere as Ulla. The ensemble also includes Blake Erickson as Roger De Bris, Jordan Shea as Franz Liebkind, Mikey Sakinofsky as Carmen Ghia, and Wendy-Lee Purdy as Hold-Me-Touch-Me. Ensemble members include Spencer Cliff, Clancy Enchelmaier, Genevieve Goldman, Jordon Gordon, Ashton Lash, Joe Meldrum and Paloma Renouf. The production is directed by Julia Robertson, choreographed by Shannon Burns, and features musical direction by Osibi Akerejola.

The Producers follows a struggling Broadway producer and a timid accountant as they hatch a scheme to produce a theatrical disaster and pocket the profits, only for their plan to unravel when the show becomes an unexpected hit.
