After being a PlayStation exclusive since the franchise’s very first title in 1997 for the PlayStation 1, Everybody’s Golf will return in 2025 with Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots, launching on not only the PlayStation 5, but also the Nintendo Switch and PC. The announcement comes from Bandai Namco Entertainment, who have taken over publishing duties for at least this title, marking a significant platform expansion for the long-running golf game series.
Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots aims to bring back the familiar, accessible gameplay of its predecessors, including the signature three-button shot mechanic. Designed to be simple for newcomers to pick up while offering depth for experienced players, the mechanic remains a core part of the gameplay.
The title will feature several play modes, including Solo Rounds for players to challenge their personal records, and a Challenge Mode where they can compete in tournaments against tougher opponents. A Multiplayer Mode will allow up to four players to play together, either locally or online. A new Wacky Golf mode will also be introduced, incorporating unconventional rules and events intended to add a fresh twist to the traditional golf experience.
Expect to hear more about the game in the coming months ahead of its 2025 launch.
