Following its initial announcement a few months back, Pony Canyon has unveiled a second trailer for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Harmony of Mille-Feuille (Utagoe wa Mille-Feuille, うたごえはミルフィーユ). The trailer debuted during AnimeJapan 2025 at the Pony Canyon booth, offering a fresh look at the series ahead of its scheduled July 2025 premiere.
Harmony of Mille-Feuille is based on a multimedia project that began in April 2022 and centres on a cappella performance and youth drama. The new trailer introduces viewers to the journey of protagonist Uta Komaki, a high school student who, after struggling to find her place in a traditional music club, discovers a new path through a cappella and a group of like-minded peers.
First-year high school student, Uta Komaki.
She has many weaknesses.
But she loves to sing.
Aiming for an ordinary youth,
she tries to join the light music club as part of her high school debut—
only to fail miserably due to her timid nature.
In her despair, Uta encounters
a form of music created solely by the human voice—a cappella.
There, she finds a group of girls whose imperfect youth
is woven together only through their harmonized voices.
—Even without shining, it’s still youth.
