Ubisoft’s UPlay Shop to Feature Digital Games From a Number of Well Known Developers / Studios

It seems that the Ubisoft UPlay Shop will no longer be host to just the companies titles. Ubisoft today confirmed that titles from a number of different video game developers, publishers and studios are being made available through the service through their WEB-BASED SHOP or PC client. Below is a list of the publishers whom which their titles can now be purchased through the service:

  • Electronic Arts
  • Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment
  • 1C Company,  bitComposer Games
  • Bohemia Interactive
  • Encore Software
  • Focus Home Interactive
  • Freebird Games
  • Iceberg Interactive
  • Nordic Games
  • Paradox Interactive
  • Recoil Games
  • Robot Entertainment
  • Telltale Games
  • Torn Banner Studios
  • plus others

To entice customers to use the service, Ubisoft is offering a free digital copy of one of six titles to customers who purchase any game priced over AU$24.95/NZ$34.95 (excluding pre-orders) from today until the 4th March. These titles are:

  • Driver San Francisco Deluxe Edition
  • From Dust
  • Might & Magic Heroes VI Deluxe Edition
  • Rayman Origins (The Otaku’s Study Game of the Year Runner Up)
  • The Settlers 7 Gold Edition
  • World in Conflict®: Complete Edition.

Pre-orders for titles like EA’s SimCity Limited Edition are also available. In addition, Ubisoft announced that it is now selling its games through EA’s Origin digital download service, including Assassin’s Creed III and Far Cry 3.
