Look North World, the user generated content (UGC) game studio and publisher led by Bungie founder and former Disney executive Alexander Seropian in partnership with Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. has today released a significant update for Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance Red vs Blue via Unreal Engine for Fortnite (UEFN).
Originally launched in November 2024, Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance Red vs Blue aims to bring the fast-paced combat of Fortnite into the Mobile Suit Gundam universe, allowing players to align with either Team Red, the Principality of Zeon, or Team Blue, the Earth Federation forces, and battle for control in the chaos of the One Year War.
The latest update introduces a new, fast-paced map inspired by the classic Red vs Blue layout, designed for quick traversal and increased gadget use in a smaller, action-packed arena. Players now have instant access to a variety of weapons, along with timed unlocks for additional gear, gadgets, and vehicles.
A new in-game currency system also allows players to unlock special mobile suits. Enhancements to mobile suit animations bring new visual excitement to the battlefield, reinforcing the chaos as players witness their suits activate and devastate structures, bases, and enemies. Strategic depth has also been expanded, where eliminating enemies activates a team’s mobile suit, while attacking the enemy suit delays its deployment, rewarding coordinated play.
