GungHo Online Entertainment has announced a collaboration between its mobile match-3 RPG, Puzzle & Dragons, and the light novel label GA Bunko. Running until 16 March 2025, this event introduces a range of characters from GA Bunko titles, including Bell Cranel from Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, Goblin Slayer from Goblin Slayer, and Yuji from My Isekai Life: I Gained a Second Character Class and Became the Strongest Sage in the World!.
Throughout the event, players who log in can earn daily bonuses such as a GA Bunko Egg Machine pull, TAMADRA, and King Diamond Dragon. Those who log in for ten days will receive three pulls from the GA Bunko Egg Machine.
The event introduces several dungeons, each offering unique rewards:
- GA Bunko Quest – Players can earn Magic Stones by clearing quest levels, with a total of ten Magic Stones available for reaching level 10.
- GA Bunko-Novice & GA Bunko-Expert – These dungeons allow players to collect GA Bunko Collab Medals, exchangeable for limited-time characters.
- Juggernaut Descended! – A special dungeon where defeating the boss guarantees a Juggernaut drop and additional rewards.
- GA Bunko Colosseum! – Players using a GA Bunko collaboration character as their team leader will experience a 100% drop rate.
- [Hestia] Title Challenge! – A time-limited dungeon where successful completion rewards players with the Hestia title and GA Bunko Collab Medals.
Multiplayer modes for select dungeons, including Juggernaut Descended! and GA Bunko Colosseum!, are also available.
Players can obtain collaboration-exclusive characters through the Monster Exchange and special in-game bundles. Bundles range from a single Magic Stone and Egg Machine pull ($0.99 USD) to premium options featuring guaranteed character pulls, Magic Stones, and exclusive enhancements.
