Action RPG Lost Soul Aside Launching on PlayStation 5 and PC on May 30

During this morning’s PlayStation State of Play broadcast, Ultizero Games confirmed that Lost Soul Aside will launch on PlayStation 5 and PC on May 30. A new gameplay trailer was revealed alongside additional details about the game’s world, combat mechanics, and PlayStation 5 enhancements.

Described as a fusion of sci-fi and fantasy, Lost Soul Aside presents a richly detailed world filled with diverse landscapes, from sunlit plains to ancient ruins and alternate dimensions. The environments are designed to be more than just visually appealing, offering secrets, dynamic encounters, and unpredictable events for players to discover.

Combat is a core focus, with the protagonist Kaser wielding a shape-shifting weapon that can adapt to different fighting styles. Whether players prefer precise swordplay, ranged attacks, or high-speed mobility, the game offers various weapon types to suit different approaches. Players can also customize loadouts, chain together powerful combos, and utilize the abilities of Arena, Kaser’s dragon-like companion, whose support can turn the tide of battle.

Boss fights play a significant role in Lost Soul Aside, featuring large-scale encounters that challenge players’ reflexes and strategy. One highlighted battle involves a towering dragon, requiring aerial dodges, well-timed counters, and relentless attacks in what the developers describe as an “epic action movie” experience.

Beyond combat, Lost Soul Aside weaves a narrative around Kaser’s journey of redemption and discovery. As he learns more about his connection to Arena, the story will explore personal challenges alongside high-stakes conflicts, aiming to deliver dramatic moments without overshadowing the gameplay.

The PlayStation 5 version of Lost Soul Aside takes advantage of the console’s hardware with:

  • Fast load times, allowing seamless transitions between exploration and combat.
  • DualSense integration, with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers enhancing the feel of battles.
  • 4K visuals, offering dynamic lighting and highly detailed environments.

The PC version will also be optimized to maintain smooth performance while preserving the core gameplay experience.
