After many gamers missed their Friday night or Saturday gaming sessions caused by an extended PlayStation Network (PSN) outage affecting all PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, the service is now live once more.
As of writing, no explanation has been given for why the PSN was down for the greater part of a day. There has been much hypothesising whether it was a DDoS attack, something more sinister or something much more benign. Here’s hoping that we hear more about what happened in the near future.
Additionally, there has been no clarification on whether any compensation will be provided to affected users.
