With the Playstation Conference 2013 due to be held on the 20th February, and the Playstation 4 rumored to be on the announcement block for the event… Sony Computer Entertainment have started up a short video series highlighting the different systems in the Playstation line.
Yesterday’s installment focused on the PlayStation 1 which was launched in Japan during 1994 – with todays trailer focusing on the Playstation 2 which was released in 2000 and only recently saw it discontinued after a more than 12 year run. The Playstation 2 is most probably the most memorable of any gaming consoles to me – with an extensive range of games, several innovative releases and was the first non-Nintendo console for me to own.
Expect to hear more about the Playstation Portable, Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita in the build up to the main conference.
