In their latest information blast for the long-awaited sequel to Phantom Brave, Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero, Nippon Ichi Software America has detailed postgame content, downloadable content and base features.
On Marona and her companions’ base, Skullrock Island, your allies can manage the various Facilities to provide services. To unlock a new Facility, simply create a unit of the required class. These Facilities offer a range of benefits, such as a Shop where you can purchase items, and a Juice Bar, which allows you to distribute EXP amongst your allies.
Once the main story concludes, players can dive into Postludes, a dedicated postgame mode featuring five characters from other Nippon Ichi Software titles. These include Laharl, Valvatorez, and Pirilika from the Disgaea series, Priere from La Pucelle Tactics, Cornet from Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, and Asagi, a recurring character who first debuted in the original Phantom Brave and has become a NIS staple ever since.
Beyond the Postludes, additional beloved characters will become available through DLC. Fans can look forward to seeing Scarlet, Sprout, Castile, and Walnut from the original Phantom Brave return, alongside Kotomo from Yomawari: Night Alone, The Liar Princess from The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince, and Mad Rat & Heart from MAD RAT DEAD. Samayoi, the Wanderer from the Japan-exclusive BAR Stella Abyss, will also make their debut in the game as part of the DLC roster.
Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero is set to release on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on 30 January 2025, with a PC Steam version to follow later in the year.
