To celebrate the upcoming release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on 25 October, Activision has reintroduced The Replacer, portrayed by actor Peter Stormare (Fargo, John Wick Chapter 2). Known for stepping in to handle everyday tasks so players can focus on gaming – specifically Black Ops 6, The Replacer is returning with a bolder presence and new recruits for his team. The Replacer is getting a Replacer.
Providing a local angle to the mix, Australian personality Sophie Monk has joined as the “Aussie Replacer”.
Activision Blizzard APAC vice president and managing director, Alexis Boulton, commented on the choice of Sophie Monk for the campaign:
Sophie brings her trademark sass and humour to the role of the Aussie Replacer, making her the perfect addition to our global Replacer family. Our local version of The Replacer features a distinctly Aussie flavour. Choosing Sophie to be our Replacer was an easy choice and one we know Call of Duty fans will love.
