While it has been known that Team Asobi would be offering post-launch content for their hit PlayStation 5 exclusive platformer Astro Bot, we now have confirmation on what at least the first wave of such content looks like. It has been confirmed that in the next couple of months, a free update will bring five new speedrun levels to the game completely free. Going along with them being speedrun challenges, the preview trailer (to the left) indicates that these could be rather challenging levels as well.
As part of these new stages, there will be 10 new Special Bots for players to rescue. These can be obtained by beating birds in races of each level. Some of these bots include the Helldivers squad, and Eve from Stellar Blade. The others will be confirmed when the update releases.
