HoYoverse has shared arguably one of their most creative character trailers for Genshin Impact to date, focusing on the Dendro-Claymore user Kinich, who will be making his playable debut in a couple of days' time. Aligning with the pixel art appearance of his special abilities and companion Ajaw, the trailer combines themes of retro gaming with in-engine footage. It features references to classic games such as Snake, Mega Man, and Pac-Man, as well as retro fighting experiences and more. Unfortunately, as of writing, due to "recording arrangements," the trailer features only the Japanese audio, which is not surprising given the ongoing strikes in the USA.
