Shin-chan: Shiro and the Coal Town to Release on Nintendo Switch and PC This October

Following the game’s release in Japan earlier in the year, Neos Corporation has announced that Shin-chan: Shiro and the Coal Town will be available to Western players on 24 October 2024 for both Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam) platforms. A physical version for the Nintendo Switch, in partnership with Limited Run Games, will also be available in the US and Europe. Pre-orders will be open at LRG’s official online store for a limited time later this year.

In celebration, a bundle sale will run until November 7, offering Shin-chan: Shiro and the Coal Town and Shin-chan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation -The Endless Seven-Day Journey- together for 39.99 USD/EUR on Steam and 49.99 USD/EUR on Nintendo Switch. Additionally, the price for Shin-chan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation will be adjusted to 29.99 USD/EUR on Steam, aligning with the new release.

The train arrives at Coal Town, a lively place seemingly frozen in the Showa era. Here, Shinnosuke meets a mysterious young girl and befriends the town’s energetic working-class residents. This marks the beginning of Shinnosuke’s new adventure, traveling between the village in Akita and Coal Town
